DAYCARE FAQ
All social groups are made up of dogs with similar energy and play style to ensure positive interactions. Dogs are allowed to play, sleep, and sniff as they please and are closely monitored for signs of discomfort, anxiety, and over stimulation. Any dogs displaying said symptoms will either be given a short crate break to reset or redirected to a new activity. Healthy play is encouraged and any unbalanced play is split up and reset.
Designated pick up and drop off times are as follows; AM Drop Off: 7:00-9:00am
Mid-day Pick Up/Drop Off: 12:00-1:00pm
PM Pick Up: 4:00-6:00pm
Due to the structure of our program, we do not require daycare dogs to be spayed or neutered. Whether a dog is intact or not, they are all held to the same behavioural and social standards.
That being said, we do not allow dogs in heat, or close to a heat to attend daycare. Owners will receive further instruction on a case by case basis.
Dogs must be up to date on their DHPP/DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations. Titre testing is also acceptable. Flea and tick prevention are highly recommended.
All dogs are required to attend daycare at least once every other week. Longer absences will require a trial day prior to re-admittance.
There are two designated 1 hour nap times, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Dogs will be crated for one of those nap times and may be crated periodically for shorter sessions when rotating dogs, during pick up and drop off, or to reset during play.
