Meet the Team
On The Ball K9 Services is run by two like minded dog trainers who believe in a rewards based, positive first approach to training. We actively train and title our own dogs in a variety of sports and are consistently engaging in continuing education to ensure the most up to date training skills are passed on.

Kaileigh Pinks
Co-owner/Trainer
Kaileigh grew up around animals, from fostering kittens at the humane society to riding, teaching and competing on horseback, and eventually bringing three dogs into her life. Sasha, the family dog, a sweet Golden Retriever mix with a love for sleeping, Ayden, a sassy and energetic Australian Shepherd, and Preston, a Labrador Retriever who is her service dog. Kaileigh, Ayden, and Preston have trained in everything from formal obedience to canine fitness and actively compete and work towards new levels in Agility and Rally Obedience. It was with Sasha though where her passion for dog training and canine behaviour was sparked!
After getting her first job in the dog industry at a dog daycare and training facility, Kaileigh’s journey took her across the country to complete a professional dog trainer program in British Columbia. Multiple job opportunities, training courses, and educational experiences later brings us to the creation of On The Ball K9 Services!

Kaileigh is also a Certified Trick Dog Instructor through Do More With Your Dog and a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals.

Sydney Teasdale
Co-owner/Trainer
After growing up with horses, dogs, and various other pets, Sydney wanted to further her career with animals so she enrolled in the animal science program at the University of Guelph. While there Sydney acquired an abundance of large animal experience by working on dairy farms, doing foal watch, and trying her hand as a zoo attendant.
She eventually met her now 6 year old shepherd mix, Loki, who served as her push into the world of dog training and behaviour! Sydney went on to working at a dog daycare and training facility and loved getting to learn the how and why of dog communication.
After completing her degree, Sydney moved on to working at a dog training, daycare, and boarding facility which helped her expand her dog training and handling skills. Sydney took courses, taught classes, and worked with training dogs one on one to ensure their continued success. Time went by and Sydney felt ready to branch out on her own which brings us to On The Ball K9 Services!
When not working with other dogs or clients, Sydney enjoys training Loki in formal obedience and exploring the best hiking spots together.
